Launched in 1960 as Yamaha International Corporation, Yamaha Corporation of America (YCA) provides a full line of musical instruments and also audio/visual products to the U.S. marketplace. Along with such product branches, YCA includes other business administrative divisions including Finance, Information Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Client Financial Services, Customer Support Team, and Administration.

YCA also manages its large artist relations efforts from five US-based centers: Yamaha Artist Services, Inc. (YASI) in New York City, Yamaha Artist Services Nashville (YASN) in Franklin, TN, Yamaha Artist Services Indianapolis (YASIN), and Yamaha Artist Services Burbank (YASB) at Burbank CA, and also the Los Angeles Atelier at Buena Park, CA.

The Yamaha Entertainment Group of America was established in 2012 as a boutique, one-stop-shop recording label, based in Franklin, TN.
