John Crittenden started his lengthy career as an expert, working artist in the 1960s and produced and sold more than 1200 paintings during his career.
In the early 1980s he created the History of Transport that became "the official record of limited edition prints for Expo 86″. The first photograph to the right would be of Senators Willie Adams along with Len Marchand together with John in his show from the National Art Centre in Ottawa. Senator Len Marchand along with his wife Donna patroned John's National Art Centre show in 1986. After 46 years as a fulltime working artist John was diagnosed with macular degeneration at his right eye at November 2011. Within three months he had been blind in that eye and told he would never see again with it. He was also told that the illness had started at another eye. Faced with losing his sight entirely John developed his very own naturopathic Protocol and over eleven weeks he enhanced his sight from 20/400 blindness to about 20/50 vision since this is written.
