Jancee Dunn grew up in Chatham, New Jersey.
She was a writer at Rolling Stone in 1989-2003. She's written for many publications, among them the New York Times, Vogue, Parents, GQ, and O: The Oprah Magazine. She has become an entertainment correspondent for a veejay, Good Morning America as well as for five decades to get MTV2. Her memoir "But Enough About Me," about her own life because chronically nervous celebrity aide, came out in 2006, and the publication "Don't You Forget About Me" followed in 2008. Her collection of essays entitled "Why Is My Mom Getting a Tattoo? And Other Questions I Wish I Never Need To Ask" was a finalist for the Thurber Prize For American humor.
