Cyd Moore worked for newspaper publishing, and television, advertisements, and graduated from the University of Georgia. You may have seen her art onto games, McDonald's Happy Meal boxes, and magazines. However, her real passion is illustrating children's books and so far, she has over 50 published titles, such as the best selling I LOVE YOU STINKY FACE series. Oprah's Book Club chose WILLOW.

Cyd is a lively speaker and also a favorite at conferences, libraries and schools. This southern belle inspires gasps and giggles thinking, and a love of art and story. She relates to children on their own level, so they are learning and laughing and getting motivated to write and draw and attempt virtually anything! She engages all ages and has the capability to deal with a large crowdschool art students to even the very wiggly 'worms' in kindergarten are spellbound!
