A passion for sports is at #x & Daina Falk2019;s bloodstream.

She grew up at sporting events and around professional athletes that were clients of her father, David Falk, a leader of the sports agent business. She took this fire where she performed on #x 2019, the Women &; s Club Tennis Team and was a dedicated Cameron Crazy.

While at Duke, Daina chased two different passions—artwork and meals. She dwelt in Florence and Paris and studied the arts—equally culinary and fine. Taking cooking classes while immersed in European culture staged a lifelong interest in #x 2014 & foods;both cooking and eating it. Daina came to think that food wasn’#x 2019; s experience on the planet & t just a hobby but has been an important cultural part of a sports spectator.

Just as she wanted to continue to cook and cook the kinds of spectator-friendly foods she had grown up enjoying and appreciated abroad, Daina quickly found that with her college playing days above, adjustments to her favourite foods had to be made. She embarked on a trip of healthy eatingthat helped her shed 60 pounds.

Returning to the United States having a fresh perspective, she made Starving FanTM, a brand marrying sports, food and sports fan culture, so she could share her fresh outlook with fellow sports fans.

Publicly known as “The Hungry Fan®”, Daina currently curates the sport enthusiast’s match day adventure–-whether it’s in your home or in the parking lot (that she predicts “fangating"), in the stadium or at a sports pub.

Daina shares her game day recipes, including her healthy twists on “sportsfood” (a Twitter hashtag she created), on her HungryFan.com site, also around Celebrations.com (where she's the resident sports/fangatingTM/sportsfood expert).
