Alexandra Katehakis, MFT is Senior Fellow in The Meadows, Chairman and Clinical Director of the Center for Sex in Los Angeles, Facility at the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals, along with also the 2012 Carnes Award receiver. She's a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist/Supervisor and Accredited Sex Therapist/Supervisor specializing in the treatment of sexual disorders. Ms. Katehakis is author of "Sex Addiction As Affect Dysregulation: A Neurobiologically Informed Holistic Remedy", 2016 released by W. W. Norton & Co.. She's co-author of this 2015 AASECT award winning "Mirror of Intimacy: Daily Reflections on Erotic and Emotional Intelligence" (2104), contributing author to the Clark Vincent award winning "Earning money: A Comprehensive Guide for Treating Female Gender and Love Addicts", in M. Feree (Ed.) , (2012), also author of "Erotic Intelligence: Igniting Hot Healthy Sex Following Recovery From Sex Addiction" (2010).

Ms. Katehakis received her first training in transpersonal psychology in John Cogswell, Ph.d. where she co-founded a mind/body psychotherapeutic modality known as "Walking-in-Your-Shoes."
