Dana Bate is the author of TOO MANY COOKS, Another BITE AT THE APPLE along with THE GIRLS' GUIDE TO LOVE AND SUPPER CLUBS, that earned a starred review and has been translated into five languages. Before writing fiction full time, she had been a Washington manufacturer and reporter for PBS's Nightly Business Report, in which she won the Gerald Loeb Award for a series she produced in the Indian market. She studied biochemistry and molecular biophysics at Yale University and received her master's degree from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, in which she won the Harrington Award for exceptional promise in the sphere of journalism. She lives outside Philadelphia with her family.
