Danica was first born and raised in the wilds of South Louisiana where mosquitoes are big enough to carry off small children and there are only two seasons: hot and warmer. Having a BA in History, she figured there were sufficient fry cooks on the planet and decided to try her hand in writing.

Writing is the way she gives the voices in her head a way out. They speak to her constantly wanting their tales told and she really does her best to adapt them. When she is not writing, running, or considering the intricacies of the universe, she spends some time collecting inspiration from her mad family, reads a lot more than any sane man would like to, also watches sexy burly men pursue an oblong ball all over a field.
