I'm an atelier-trained artist and instructor who writes novels to teach you how to draw and paint. I do so by first teaching you how to see with Sight-Size. I have written six novels, my most recent being The Sight-Size Cast (find out here: http://www.sightsize.com/learn/sight-size-cast/). I've been teaching pupils how to view since 1988, both in the States and in Florence, Italy. Every other week I publish a post on SightSize.com.
Through my publishing firm, Velatura Press, '' I also republished an expanded variant of E.G. Lutz's 1921 novel, Drawing Made Easy and edited a joint reprint of Asher B. Durand's 1855 Letters on Landscape Painting with Birge Harrison's 1910 Landscape Painting.
