David Kalvitis is a artist, graphic designer, puzzle inventor and owner of Monkeying Round Publishing. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, Kalvitis is the oldest of three children. He currently resides in Rochester, New York. [1]
Kalvitis is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he earned a Fine Arts degree in Editorial Design. During his senior year, he placed second at the International Print Magazine Cover Design Contest.
After conducting his own graphic design company from Rochester for 13 decades, Kalvitis began his publishing career with the introduction of The Greatest Dot-to-Dot Books from the World in 2000.
Since 2001 Kalvitis has released seventeen hand-designed puzzle books, which have received a lot of awards by parenting, toy and educational associations. Up to now, his books have sold more than a half of a million copies globally.
