David Jay Brown is the author of this New Science of Psychedelics: At the Nexus of Staff, Consciousness, and Spirituality. He's also the writer of 8 other books concerning the future of science and consciousness, including four bestselling volumes of interviews with leading-edge thinkers, Mavericks of the Mind, Voices from the Edge, Conversations on the Edge of the Apocalypse, also Mavericks of Medicine. Brown holds an master's degree in psychobiology from New York University, worked as a neuroscience researcher at memory and learning at the University of Southern California, and was accountable to the California-based research in two of British biologist Rupert Sheldrake's novels on unexplained phenomena in mathematics: Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home and the Feeling of Being Stared At.
