Innovators At Acoustic Drums - In 2005, ddrum took the market by storm in its use of new substances and technologies. We were one of the first to use 100 percent Ash shells. Ddrum led the way with deeper bass drums at a period when only habit companies provided such alternatives. Innovation lasted when ddrum introduced the first hybrid wood drum set comprising maple inner and ash outside yarn. An Acoustic/Electronic Hybrid drum set folowed, including integrated ddrum Pro Acoustic Triggers and built in XLR jack. Now, yet another drum business first: drum kits produced from Alder. Ddrum was the first to integrate a wood that was exclusive provenance of guitars...and assembled it to a drum group. We then combined the timber with hardware characteristics that started to our USA drum line to create the Reflex series; among ddrum's best vendors now.
