I write witty comic inspired by life in the village in which I live with my husband and daughter.

My latest novel is "Best Murder in Display", earliest in my brand new Sophie Sayers Village Mystery series. Next up will probably be "Trick or Murder", starting in the summer. My intended cycle of seven books in this collection will operate the length of a calendar year at the life of a classic English Cotswold village.

I also love writing short stories, and that I publish a new themed collection each year, the latest of which will be "Marry in Haste". "Repent at Leisure will be released later this season. Also my stories feature, and singles are also published by me in live spoken word events and in several anthologies.

After I’m not writing fiction, so I really do other bookish items. I was privileged to read one of my stories in the 2016 Cheltenham Literature Festival, and that I guide the no cost Hawkesbury Upton Literature Festival. I conduct two writers’ classes, manage the Author Advice Centre site for the Alliance of Independent Authors, and review literary books for Vine Leaves Press. I write monthly columns for two local publications and various non-fiction novels, and I'm a regular guest on BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Book Club. I'm an ambassador to its Type 1 diabetes study worker and also for the children's reading charity Readathon JDRF.

Phew! I'm never bored, but I'm sometimes a bit tired…
