Della Goldsworth’s enthusiasm for becoming an advocate for people with dementia started with volunteer work at hospice care. She noticed that the small things, such as understanding a gardener’s favourite memories or how they liked their tea, added to their quality of life. This fire grew into an idea for a guide to help caregivers keep their citizens’ dignity and make lifestyle with dementia or even a communication-limiting disease as fulfilling and comfortable as possible.
When Della isn’t caring for the elderly, she devotes her time to her spouse, three kids, various cats, dogs, chickens, and the occasional nurture duck egg. She does it all by self-care, living a healthy lifestyle of eating whole foods (most of the period), workout, and baking all the cakes!
