Derek Lidow is entrepreneur, innovator and a global CEO. Among other achievements, Lidow is widely-known as one of the world’s top specialists on the electronics industry; his contributions range from rivals to value chain applications which have forever enhanced companies as varied as Sony, Samsung, Philips, Goldman Sachs and IBM.

Today, Lidow teaches Entrepreneurial Leadership and Creativity, Design and Design in Princeton University. He keynotes about the topic of startup leadership. And He's a media commentator; Lidow’s policy to date includes The Economist, Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Bloomberg, The New York Times, Nikkei, Reuters, and Taipei Times along with many leading bloggers.

Prior to joining Princeton’s faculty, Lidow was founder and CEO of iSuppli which he offered to IHS in 2010 from IHS for over $100 million. Lidow’ amounts in which he earned a PhD in applied physics as a Hertz Foundation 25, come from Stanford and Princeton. He is based in New York City and Princeton, NJ.
