Donald Gilleland was born in Alton, Illinois. He served 30 years at the U.S. gun and ten years at the defense industry. He's resided in 12 countries and visited with 29 countries on five continents. His first two books were printed by Black Rose Writing; the first book, America: A philosophical Enigma, is all about major changes to America's culture over the previous 50 years. His next book, America: Where Great Things Happen, is all about beautifully fascinating things Americans do this get very little media attention.
