Donna-Marie was encouraged by the Holy See to participate in an international congress for Catholic women at the Vatican at 2008 which focused on "Mulieris Dignitatm: On the Dignity and Vocation of Women."

Donna-Marie was blessed to know Saint Teresa of Calcutta for about ten years.They met over a dozen occasions and shared a correspondence which spanned a period of ten decades. She also became a Lay Missionary of Charity (place part of her Religious Order) and established a branch of the lay Order. Saint Mother Teresa wrote the Foreword for Donna-Marie's publication, "Prayerfully Expecting: A Nine Month Novena to get Mothers-To-Be" (Crossroad Publishing, 2007). Saint Mother Teresa endorsed Donna-Marie's novels: "Catholic Prayer Book for Moms" (Our Sunday Visitor, Oct. 2005) and "The Heart of Motherhood: Finding Holiness in the Catholic Home" (Crossroad Publishing, 2006) as well, and invited Donna-Marie to write them and to carry on to write different books as well to help mothers, women, and households. Donna-Marie believes she must pass on the blessings that she have obtained to others from Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta and she also strives to do this through her writing, discussions, radio and tv.
