Doug Green brings gardening systems of organic garden achievements and a down-to-earth design.

A former specialist nurseryman who used to produce 1600-1800 forms of perennials along with 600-800 varieties of annuals every spring into his greenhouses, Doug shut down the nursery in 1998 to write full time.

His 2001 novel, "Gardening Wisdom" won the top award for composing out of the Garden Writers Association and he's done tv shows, magazine articles and even a newspaper column for more than ten decades. He writes for his websites and ebooks in addition to some freelance opportunities that present themselves.

Refusing to take himself seriously, he thinks in enjoying gardens, his old British sport car and also sailing.

What his buddies will tell you is his novels are works of love since he would rather write and backyard than do many other items.

Doug lives in an island along with his heirloom vegetable specialist partner Mayo Underwood, also is the insanely proud father of four kids.
