Jane Thielemann-Downs lately retired after having a 25 year career as a Professor of Education in the College of Public Service in the University of Houston Downtown instruction courses in Reading, Language Arts, and Educational Psychology. She has published numerous articles and books for pre-service teachers. She's also motivated to write children's novels and loves studying to her four grandchildren as she experiences life through their eyes. She tries hard to catch the "wonderment of existence" when composing for children.
She and her husband have a sailboat and enjoy traveling and fishing.
