Elizabeth Watson writes historical romance and resides in West Virginia with her four sons, husband, yellow lab, bobtail cat, and parakeet. She has a Master of Letters in Archaeology from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, and also a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin. She was recently featured in The Journal because of her newest release. Prince of Lions has been a top 100 Kindle publication download in Medieval historical love categories and it is Scottish. In 2014, she was a Second Prize Quarter-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award competition for her unpublished manuscript entitled two Brides for Ewan de Buchan, and before that she received an Honorable Mention from the 2013 Texas Observer Short Story Contest for her story entitled Freedom from the Raw. She started writing by publishing two articles in the academic journals Time and Mind: The Journal of Archaeology, Consciousness, and Culture, and The Journal of Big Bend Studies regarding her graduate faculty dissertation and an undergraduate research fellowship award project. Elizabeth is a member of RWA (Romance Writers of America) as well as the Maryland Romance Writers. February 14th, 2017 her newest release is coming out, and afterwards 2017, her title with Entangled Publishing will release.
