When he was ten years old that he became a seminarian at a renowned college of German source, the Office Mission San Miguel, located in Antônio Carlos, Minas Gerais. He lived and studied in the faculty also called "Borda do Campo" for four years. Shortly after he graduated the school closed - which makes him a member of the last class to attend the Office Mission San Miguel.

He returned for his loved ones and four years after he joined the Preparatory School of Cadets of the Army (EsPCEx - Campinas-SP). His goal was to become a helicopter pilot from the Army. He had hoped to fly jets - but less than perfect eyesight made this impossible. Helicopters would be the next greatest thing. After beginning the path he discovered that flying a helicopter took eyesight than he possessed.
