EJ Shortall was born and raised in London, England where she currently resides.

Having worked in education for the better part of 12 decades, EJ decided that a change was required and, following a moment of inspiration, she chose to put pen to paper and start writing her first book, Silver Lining. Not satisfied with just the one, she continued publication two and has a lot ideas in the pipeline.

She's always liked reading, but found it was mostly just a vacation extravagance. Then she discovered a worldwide best seller, and that was it she was hooked. Reading turned into an obsession and she couldn't devour books enough. The books on her shelves and studying apparatus include candy, Young Adult romances, to smouldering encounters.

Apart from reading and writing, EJ also appreciates amateur photographs, cake decorating and more lately - due to the skills she's picked up through creating teasers - graphic design.

"I am on a fantastic roller coaster ride right now, meeting new and amazing individuals, finding new music jewels to incorporate into my tales, and learning so many new skills. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me. I expect you hop on board and enjoy the ride with me."
