My name is Ed Gonzalez and I am an artist, art teacher and author that has a passion for helping and empowering children. I need to extend my influence and impact on children and am only getting started creating books for children but have been teaching inner city school children for several years. I am the product of several kind and teachers, authors and artists who have touched me personally and my own life in a way that is positive. I want to cover it.
As a young child, books were able to provide me more confidence and skills, lift my spirits and entertain me, and take me to places I can somehow, otherwise, get to on my own. I grew and learned through books. They enabled me to overcome challenges and tough times and my head was enlarged and exposed to distinct ideas and new. Books influenced me to dream and believe I could achieve my dreams. Now that I have grown up and am living my dreams, I wish to give that gift, that amazing opportunity to other kids.
