Eileen Mueller resides in New Zealand, across both sides of a hill, using four dragonets and a shape-shifter.
In 2014 & 2015, she had fun organizing Wellington’s Storylines Family Day for thousands of children – a festival bringing novels living via performances, crafts, and fun activities with kiwi writers and illustrators.
In her spare time, Eileen participates in a barbershop chorus, plants trees with college kids, and juggles her dragonets – typically without falling them!
As well as her Sir Julius Vogel Awards, Eileen won SpecFicNZ’s Going Worldwide and the New Zealand Society of Authors’ NorthWrite Collaboration literary awards and has been a finalist in the 2017 Romance Writers NZ Chapter Short Story Contest. She is a New Zealander of the Year Local Hero medalist.
