Eliot Greenspan is journalist, a poet, and travel writer who shot his back and typewriter the length of Mesoamerica before settling at Costa Rica in 1992. Since then he has traveled almost ceaselessly composing posts and travel guides to nourish his travel habit. He feels especially at home in the Neotropics--in cloud forests and its rain, on its own rivers, and in and beneath its own seas. Eliot has written Frommer's guides to Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Cuba and Ecuador.
