Elisa's husband is a police officer. He worked as a Resource Officer at a top school for eight decades and is very passionate about school security. His work motivated Elisa's Caged trilogy. Bullying is a problem that's not going off. Caged is a fictional telling of what might happen if we all looked the other way when we see someone suffering under the hands of a bully. It is Elisa's hope that readers will take away the knowledge they aren't alone, so there is help to be found.
