Elizabeth Sautter, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a certified speech and language pathologist and co-director along with co-owner of Communication Works, a private clinic offering language, speech, and social communication therapy in the larger California bay region. She's worked in private practice, schools, and hospitals. After her fire, Elizabeth has specialized in social communication, self-regulation, and executive functioning and supervises a Heart that provides therapy. She thrives on studying and developing innovative and functional intervention instruments and programs and conducts trainings for both professionals and parents/caregivers to encourage her customers. She has finished internship and a mentorship with Stephanie Madrigal, Michelle Garcia Winner, along with Pamela Crooke. She released Make Social Learning Stick and has co-authored two popular children & #x 2019 books with Kristen Wilson, Whole Body Listening Larry at Home and Body Listening Larry in School! How to Guide and Nurture Social Competence During Activities and Everyday Routines. Elizabeth enjoys collaborating/partnering with professionals and parents in addition to sharing info. She grew up with special needs and she's now a parent of a son with special needs. Her interactions with her son, sister and extended family members with specific needs have made her work a lifelong endeavor.
