Her male lead characters are driven intelligent and determined, but could be sensitive and exposed. Elizabeth's female lead roles come from a variety of backgrounds. They are intelligent powerful and independent, while female and affectionate.

Though Elizabeth wished to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, which fantasy only became a (paid) fact for her at 2009 and a complete time job in 2012. She received a BS and held different work. During that time, though, she constantly wrote, with her personal experiences, fantasies, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her tales. Up to now, she has written over 80 books and sold more than 1.7 million copies. Her free novellas have been downloaded over 2.9 million occasions since 2013.

Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two kids. Their house is just outside of Washington, D.C., and lots of her books are set within this region.
