Erica S. Perl is a award winning children's book author. Her new middle grade book, Experts Wild, is a companion to If Life Gives You O.J., that was named a Sydney Taylor Notable Book for Older Readers, an Amazon Editors’ Greatest Novel of the Month, and also a finalist for the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award and the Rhode Island Children’s Choice Book Award).

Erica is the author of Dotty (illustrated by Julia Denos), which is great for back-to-school and was known as "a charmer" (Kirkus Reviews) and "an undercover pleasure" (Publishers Weekly). She is also the author of Chicken Butt! (now available in lavish from Merrymakers!)) , Chicken Butt's Again! , Ninety-three In Chicken Bedtime and My Family is Early.

Additionally, Erica is the author of the YA book, Vintage Veronica. Publishers Weekly calls Vintage Veronica "superbly enjoyable." When she isn't writing, Erica likes to sing, dancing, draw, read, and eat stale red licorice. She is good with kids and animals, but horrible with plants. Seriously - inquire any plant.
