Amy Riolo is a globally known expert known for fusing the worlds of culture, cuisine, and history in her work. An award - winning writer, famous lecturer, food historian, food writer, culinary advisor, and cooking instructor, she had been filmed the “Cook to your Kings” with a Cairo paper in 2008.

Her first publication, Arabian Delights; Recipes & Princely Entertaining Ideas from the Arabian Peninsula has received excellent reviews (Capital Books). Her next book Nile Style; Egyptian Cuisine and Culture (Hippocrene Books) won the World Gourmand Award for "Greatest Arab Cuisine Book" at the USA in 2009. Her latest publication, The Mediterranean Diabetes Cookbook, (American Diabetes Association) was released in March 2010. Her work also appears in Aliza Green’s The Fishmonger’s Apprentice and Sheilah Kaufman’s Upper Crusts, along with also The Canola Gourmet.

Amy’s favorite lectures include topics and include everything from Middle Eastern business and dining etiquette to the foundation of all Mediterranean restaurants, and also understanding cultures through cuisine.
