Andy Holgate Reviews

Andy Holgate spends his spare time splashing around a little, pedalling a whole lot and shuffling ahead ( on a good day ) from the pursuit of Triathlon glory, or more virtually completing in 1 piece.
Andy was born in 1972 at Barrow-in-Furness and today lives just across the bay in Lancaster, the one at the constantly sunny north west of England, not just one at the almost always sunny US state of Pennsylvania.
Composing and Triathlon are outdated bed-fellows for Andy. He began composing when he started harbouring strange urges to leap in dark, cold and honestly frightening lakes. Andy started blogging about his Ironman training along with other random thoughts and pretty soon he was getting mail telling him that he was inspirational and also getting told off after he overlooked a blogging afternoon. Eventually Andy was given a book deal and loved every second of writing his narrative as did his cat who had to sleep on the notebook keyboard. The kitty was angry when he found out he would not be named because of co-author.
If not racing across the world you will find Andy working like a librarian, training hard, drinking a lot of coffee, learning the ropes of being a new dad, diving with sharks, even jumping off bridges and all simply enjoying life.
