Ann Swan Reviews

An avid gardener Ann eventually turned her attention to drawing plants in the late 1980’s. Self-taught, she operates primarily in graphite and coloured pencil and is presently well known for her love of detail, vibrant colors and strong contemporary design. She has shown at The Royal Botanic Gardens 2019 and first revealed in 1990;s 8th International Exhibition in Pittsburgh, USA. Recently retired from many years is a quote on the RHS Picture Panel and still regularly shows with the Society of Botanical Artists. Her work is represented at the esteemed Shirley Sherwood Collection and has been commissioned for ceramics The Southern Bulb Company of Texas as well as by Jersey Pottery. Ann is passionate about pencils and teaches her techniques across the world.
