I've written sixteen traveling, history and music books such as Rough Guides as only writer, shared authorship on several more, and also write for Lonely Planet, DK Eyewitness guides and other publishers. My specialist areas include the islands, Hawaii, France, Spain and the Southwest USA.

This year I'm updating three chapters of the Rough Guide to Japan, and I have also explored Queensland for its Rough Guide to Australia, also returned to Hawaii and the Southwest to the Rough Guide to the USA.

Last year I worked on new variants of this Rough Guides to Barcelona, Provence, France and Southwest USA; the Lonely Planet guides to Greece and Western USA; and Dorling Kindersley guides to Las Vegas and Arizona.

I've also recently finished new versions of this Rough Guides to Brittany & Normandy, Spain, and Belize, in Addition to the Pocket Rough Guide to Las Vegas, and composed several segments of DK's Music: The Definitive Visual History.

As an editor, my current projects have contained Rough Guides' Make The the Majority of Your Time On Earth, Lloyd Bradley's Seems Like London, Dylan Jones' Elvis Has Left The Building, and Michael Haag's Inferno Decoded.

My Tough Guide to the Titanic, published in 2012, is an authoritative guide to the most famous maritime disaster in history. You may read about it on my site, blogtanic.wordpress.com, and website, gregward.info.

My photographs have been published in my own names, and also in magazines, newspapers and other publications.
