Angharad Thompson Rees is the author of the royal Adventures & Pony Tales children's book series. She writes comic scripts for a popular European Idol magazine and her short stories are published in several young adult literary journals across the world. A dabbling poet, Angharad won the judge's pick in an international spoken word contest and is operating on a kids ' dream novel-in-verse.

Before writing full time, Angharad travelled the world working with horses, in Olympic showjumpers and Melbourne Cup Festival racehorses to breaking in and instruction Horse of the Year show ponies. She coached in the art of horse trembling and helped alleviate assignments in France to help owners produce improved relationships with young horses.

However, her proudest moment was winning her regional dressage championships as an aide for her pony, Hillside Sonnet - that was claimed to become unrideable. The fiery red pony has been the inspiration for Magical Adventures & Pony Tales and lives on in memory over the pages of this Girl and her Pony.

Angharad Thompson Rees's works in progress comprise young adult unnatural show, The Civil War Chronicles, a middle-grade dream novel-in-verse The Making of a Knight, which can be accompanied by a teen novel spin-off titled Caramath.
