Harvey Goodman grew up in Los Angeles subsequently attended the University of Colorado where he studied history and acquired a love for the outdoors and Western literature. Inspiration developed from his work in remote locations that were western throughout his years running an oilfield vessel buildings outfit. Mr. Goodman eventually gravitated to people schooling where he functioned as a high school history teacher. He became a chief and superintendent of the schools.
In his childhood, Mr. Goodman did nicely as an athlete, has been named the Most Valuable Player at the University of Colorado football team his senior season. He was drafted by the St. Louis Football Cardinals and played with in two NFL games, such as the 1976 season for the Denver Broncos. Mr. Goodman is also an accomplished drummer.
Mr. Goodman released his first book, Along the Fortune Path, at 2010. It also posted Honorable Mention with a 5th place finish, and had been awarded Runner-Up from this Hollywood Book Festival's Genre Category. His second novel, Winds of Redemption, was printed in May also is a sequel to his first publication. It was granted Runner-Up/2nd place in the Category of the Great Southwest Book Festival. Mr. Goodman's next book, So Too My Love, was released in January, 2014. It received the Place Award in the Feathered Quill Book Awards' Short Story Category and is a memoir. Mr. Goodman's new publication 'At the Event Of', is a timely and prescient political barnburner stitched with intrigue, action and a compelling cast of characters.
