Anthony "Tony" J. Zagelow is a native Oregonian with over 35 decades’ expertise in the design and construction of the built environment. He grew up on building sites as the son of a general builder and property developer.
All through his youth and poster livelihood Tony worked together with his father developing construction and design skills that he has used as a base to build his career upon. Those formative years helped Tony develop the ability to understand good design, execute construction and also to search for methods to reduce waste and increase profit.
Over the span of this last 20 years Tony has worked on an range of Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing (MEP) jobs in a variety of roles. To make a bigger effect environmentally Tony spent many years working as a controls contractor gaining experience with construction automation layout, and energy evaluation.
Tony proceeded to earn an MBA with a focus in direction to enable him to better leverage his abilities in design, market research, negotiation, job creation, sales, incentive procurement, fiscal analysis and B2B Consultation.
In 2011 to better understand how natural systems work and to embrace biomimicry and biophilia to his job Tony made his Permaculture Design Certification (PDC). He uses the 12 permaculture design flaws influence his processes and to guide his design philosophy.
Tony’s true passion lies with plain water. Rainwater harvesting, grey water conservation and water conservation have been and are much of his lifetime’. He's always felt drawn to and connected together with water and is currently focusing his energies to innovative hydro-cent
