Dr. Goelitz is currently a writer and a scholar with a broad range of clinical experience, which range from working with trauma survivors after September 11th to her position as a psychiatric social worker at a leading New York hospital. She has specialized on fantasy analysis cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR in her personal practice, assisting clients navigate alterations and heal from injury and loss. An experienced educator, co-authored a award winning source directory for health professionals, printed articles, and she has done extensive public speaking. Her book, From injury to recovery: A social worker's guide to working with survivors, has received accolades and endorsement from leaders in the area of trauma. Her latest writing projects include a novel about the best way best to manage anxiety composed in mind with both laypeople and professionals. She has taught at Columbia University and Hunter College.
