Homak Reviews

Homak Manufacturing was founded in 1947 in Chicago from Sigmund H. Danziger. The name "Homak" was filmed after a sign which Sigmund saw to a fur shop. Originally a manufacturer of metal kitchen cabinets, Homak expanded its product offerings in the 1960s to include another line of hardware products such as toolboxes, instrument cabinets, and additional accessories. Homak's hardware line stayed strong and has been approved in several important retail businesses of its own time. After Sigmund's death in 1979, his wife, Gertrude, conducted the company for 25 years. Under Gertrude's guidance, Homak expanded its product lineup with hospital, automotive, and sporting products.
Back in January of 2005 Homak was acquired by JVA and moved its office into western Pennsylvania. Its facility now resides in the Wampum Underground Commerce Center. Now, Homak highlights tool gun and storage cabinet security. The full product line is made of hand-carry toolboxes, tool bags, components organizers, tool storage cabinets, workbenches, garage furniture, security cabinets, spill containment systems, p.b. & e. goods, steel lockers, gun cabinets, fire-resistant closets, ammo storage containers and accessories. Each product is made to surpass clients' expectations and to give strength and dependability into the customer.
