Iona loves to explore new areas, and she pulls her own experience as a serial traveler for lots of the configurations within her novels. She's been all over the world but never to China, a tragedy she means to cure whenever possible.

When she is’t match in an worldwide trip, you might find her in New Orleans, soaking up the eclectic historical atmosphere of the French Quarter and composing her latest series, The Toussaints.
