J.C. Hulsey has lived in Midlothian, Texas over thirty years. He is great-grandfather, grandfather, also a father. He has been married for 57 years. He loves Western films and TV Shows, (particularly the elderly ones) and studying around Mail-Order Brides. He is also the owner of six cats (all stray cats, showed up on the rear porch) and a pet (rescue dog) He worked for 33 years in Bell Helicopter. He served in the Air National Guard for four years, and the USAF for five years.

He has always wanted to be an author.

He began composing songs in his early twenties. He listed a couple of tunes. He started writing poetry from the 1970s to share with other individuals. He self-published them on Amazon. He still felt the need to compose something different. He tried writing a novel but it had not been finished. In 2014 he felt the impulse to write a novel. However, he desired something besides that which was on the industry.
