J K (Joanne Kathleen) Rowling was born in the summer of 1965 in Yate General Hospital in England and grew up in Chepstow, Gwent where she Moved to Wyedean Comprehensive.

Chepstow was left by Jo for Exeter University, in which her course contained one year in Paris, and where she earned a Classics and French level. As a teenager she transferred to work doing research into human rights abuses in Francophone Africa. She began writing the Harry Potter series to London King's Cross train travel during a Manchester, and summarized the plots and started writing the publication. Jo subsequently moved into Portugal, where she taught English. She gave birth to her daughter Jessica at 1993 and married in October 1992. When her marriage ended, she returned to the UK to live in Edinburgh, in which "Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone" was eventually finished and in 1996 she received the offer of book. The following summer the entire world was introduced into Harry Potter. "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was released by Bloomsbury Children's Books in June 1997 and was released as "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in America by Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic in September 1998. The next title in the series, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", was published in July 1998 (June 2, 1999 at America) and has been No. 1 in the adult hardback bestseller charts for a month following publication. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" was printed on 8th July 1999 (September 8, 1999 in America) to global acclaim and enormous press attention. The publication spent four months at No.1 in the mature hardback bestseller charts, while "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" concurrently topped the paperback graphs. From the US the first three Harry Potter books inhabited the top 3 spots on adult bestseller lists.
