Dr. Jack Freund is an expert at IT risk management specializing in assessing and communicating complex IT hazard scenarios in plain language to business executives. He leads a team of risk analysts. Jack has over 16 years in IT and engineering working for organizations like Nationwide Insurance, CVS/Caremark, Lucent Technologies, Sony Ericsson, AEP, Wendy’s International, and The State of Ohio. He holds Masters in Project and Telecom Management, a BS in CIS, a PhD in Information Systems, and also the CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CIPP, and PMP certifications. Jack is a Senior Member of ACM, IEEE, and the ISSA and a Visiting Professor at DeVry University. Jack also is a member of #x 2019 & the Open Group and chairs a CRISC subcommittee.

Jack’s writings have appeared in the ISSA Journal, Bell Labs Technical Journal, Columbus CEO Magazine, and he currently writes a hazard pillar for @ISACA.
