Jamie Cat Callan Grown up in Stamford, Connecticut.She also spent her summers with her grandma that was French-American and under her tutelage, in which she discovered the secrets to the charm and mystery of a French woman. Jamie first visited in France in 1976 and has returned several times since, interviewing thousands of French girls (and over a few guys). She was given two artist residency fellowships to write at Southwest France in the small village of Auvillar. Jamie's novels, "French Women Do not Sleep Alone", "Bonjour, Happiness!" and "Ooh la la!" Have been translated into thirty languages.
Her most recent publication, "Parisian Charm School" will be published at 2018. Jamie has received several awards for her writing, including a Massachusetts Council on the Arts Fellowship the PEN Award, and the Award in Screenwriting. She's the creator of "The Writers Toolbox" from Chronicle Books. Jamie lives on a plantation with husband in the Hudson Valley, in which apples develop and produce their very own French apple cider.
