Jamie McGuire was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She attended Northern Oklahoma Collegeat the University of Central Oklahoma, and Autry Technology Center in which she graduated with a degree in Radiography.

Jamie paved the way for the New Adult genre with the Worldwide bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Her followup book Disaster, debuted at #1 on USA Today, the New York Times, and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. Book one of the Maddox Brothers show, stunning Oblivion, also topped the New York Times bestseller list. Back in 2015 and 2016, Beautiful Redemption, the three Maddox Brothers books, Beautiful Sacrifice, and Beautiful Burn topped collection novellas, A Gorgeous Wedding and Something Beautiful, as well as the New York Times.

Novels also composed by Jamie McGuire comprise: apocalyptic thriller and 2014 UtopYA Greatest Dystopian Novel of the Year, Red Hill; the Providence show, a young adult interracial love trilogy; Apolonia, a dark sci-fi romance; and many novellas, including Red Hill companion novella Among Monsters, Happenstance: A Novella Series, and Providence trilogy novella Sins of the Innocent.

Jamie is the very first indie author in history to hit a printing deal with retail giant Wal-Mart. Beautiful Redemption, her book struck Wal-Mart shelves 2015, in September.

Jamie lives in Steamboat Springs, Colorado with her husband, Jeff, and their three kids.
