Hi!

I am an children's librarian, writer, storyteller, writing teacher and all-around lover of books. My film books are energetic and meant to be read and ENJOYED by listener and the reader. My very first book will soon be available in May 2013 (BOOM BOOM BOOM!) And my second publication will be available fall 2013 (BIG RIG). I'm looking forward to sharing my love of studying - and especially of picture books - with viewers.

One reason I write for young kids is because I know how important the love of reading is -- not just when children are modest -- but as they begin to grow into readers. If kids LOVE books and stories that they are more likely to perform the hard (sometimes bothersome) work of learning to read on their own. Parents, parents, and librarians play a massive part - from arrival - in helping kids learn to enjoy being read into -- and finally -- to love reading.
