A award-winning equipment quilter, Monk quilts professionally for many others through her business, Jane Monk Studio. By bringing those two mediums Monk became a Certified Zentangle Teacher and combines her love of quilting and Zentangle. She has designed quilt designs for publication in magazines and produced a DVD showcasing the fundamentals of quilting as well as Zentangle. Monk is the writer of Tangle Stitches for Quilters and Fabric Artists, also released by Creative Publishing. She has taught numerous classes in quilting Zentangle , free-motion stitching, making journal covers, and shot making.
