Jane E Pollock, Ph.D., co-author of ASCD bestseller, Classroom Instruction That Works (2001), functions globally with instructors, coaches and principals on curriculum, instruction, assessment, and oversight. Her work contributes to improved student achievement at the school and classroom levels.
A former school and ESL teacher, Jane worked as a district secretary and Senior Researcher for McREL Research Laboratory. She's president of Learning Horizon.

Jane wrote Enhancing Student Learning One Teacher at a Time (2007) and Feedback: the Hinge that Joins Teaching and Learning (2011). She also coauthored Dimensions of Learning Trainers and Training Manuals (1996), Assessment, Grading and Record Keeping (1999), Classroom Instruction That Works (2001), Improving Student Learning One Primary at a Time (2009) and also Minding the Achievement Gap One Classroom at a Time (2012) and The i5 strategy: Lesson Planning that Teaches Believing and Fosters Development (2017). Pending publication is your novel, The Teacher Knowing-Doing Gap (2018).

A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Jane earned degrees at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Duke University.
