I obtained my undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in which I studied Christian Education and Mathematics. My parents have been equally Math teachers. I love working with students (it keeps me young at heart). It wasn't too surprising if instruct and I decided to follow their footsteps. Back in 2005, I got my Masters of Arts.

It turns out, I like teaching! I call my job at St. Mary’s Teaching Nirvana. Small class sizes. Students working hard to discover about the material covered in class. Colleagues who strive for excellence. And, it doesn’t hurt that cookies and biscuits have a means of magically emerging all around college!

I'm also a teacher for Texas Instruments and instruct teachers how to utilize the most recent calculators. My mom, who helped me type many English papers in high school is amused I have written two books, "TI-Nspire for Dummies" and "TI-84 for Dummies."

Back in 2011, I must fulfill President Obama and the Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan when I was awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence for Science & Mathematics Teaching. I got to spend an unforgettable week in Washington D.C. with my wife, Shannon.

If I’m not meeting significant dignitaries, I like attending ballgames of one of my three boys, enjoying golf / raquetball, getting free things, studying Malcolm Gladwell publications and producing my wife smile.
