With 25 decades of experience as a teacher and an administrator in a wide variety of pre-collegiate settings: public and independent colleges, day and boarding schools, religiously related, single-sexed and special needs schools, American and international schools, Jenifer Fox has put out to lead The Strengths Movement in Schools, a global educational movement aimed at changing the K-12 platform from one that focuses on the deficits and weaknesses of children to one which observes strengths.
A struggling student in high school, Jenifer overcame her struggles by devoting her energies into finding her own strengths. She also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and 2 masters degrees: an MA from Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English along with an M-Ed in Harvard University.
Ms. Fox has written many articles and presented workshops around the country on this issue of school reform, teaching struggling pupils, parenting, and building on strengths to achieve human capacity. Jenifer's expertise as a writer and an actor make her an engaging and compelling storyteller speaker.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jenifer has lived in Denver, San Francisco's East Bay, the west coast of Florida and in the New York metropolitan area. As an independent college administrator her specialization is in 'turn-around' companies where she is able to leverage the strengths of an organization to alter it by an institution at a fighting state to one which thrives both financially and emotionally on its strengths.
