Jim Davidson is co-author (with Kevin Vaughan) of all "The Ledge" which was chosen among the Best Novels of 2011 by Amazon, Winner of the National Outdoor Book Award at Outdoor Literature (2012) and finalist in the Banff Mountain Book Contest in Canada. This incredible survival story is also featured at the "Killer Crevasse" episode of the TV show "I Shouldn't Be Alive" (airs worldwide on Animal Planet & Discovery Network).

Jim is a climber and international speaker who shares lessons distilled from a life of mountain experiences. He has scaled peaks and been on high-altitude expeditions to Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Alaska, Nepal and Tibet. Jim has summited the highest peak on earth, Cho Oyu at 26,906'. He's volunteered for a number of mountain rescues, for which the National Park Service has praised him and his teammates. Jim has been an authority in resilience. Prior to being a professional speaker and experience author, Jim worked for 22 decades as an environmental geologist.
